About the eBook

Job interview
A job interview in oil and gas industry is an interview consisting of a conversation between a job applicant and a representative of an employer which is conducted to assess whether the applicant should be hired. Interviews are one of the most common methods of employee selection in oil and gas industry. Interviews vary in the extent to which the questions are structured, from an unstructured and informal conversation to a structured interview in which an applicant is asked a predetermined list of questions in a specified order. If you want to apply for a job in oil and gas industry, the best way to get ready for an interview is to take the time to review the most common interview questions. Knowing what you're going to say can eliminate a lot of interview stress.
Interviewers will ask questions about you to gain insight into your personality and to determine whether you're a fit for both the job and the company. They'll be looking at your education, experience and interests for employment in oil and gas industry. These are open-ended questions which will give you the opportunity to show the employer that you're well-qualified for the position. They might also ask this kind of question to see if you have the qualities and experience needed for the job. Petrogav International has developed a list with most common technical questions and answers from oil and gas industry special designed for job interview. Designed and provided by Petrogav International Oil & Gas Traning Center, this eBook is suitable for any one who wish to start their career in the oil and gas industry.

Course General Description
This course reviews the basics of spill control response principles, organization, procedures, and equipment used. Attendees will be introduced to evaluation of spills, organization of response and communications, surveillance and tracking, data records and information. Acid gas removal is an important gas conditioning step that is required for natural gas streams that contain moderate to large amounts of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. The treated gas specification depends upon the downstream requirements. These competencies set the base knowledge that is required for a successful career as an entry level facilities engineer, seasoned operator, and / or field supervisor. These modules provide an understanding of common terminology, hydrocarbons and their physical properties, qualitative and quantitative phase behavior, hydrates, and fluid flow. In addition, they provide a systematic approach to understanding the common types of equipment, and the primary unit operations in both offshore and onshore gas conditioning and processing facilities. After all various components and procedures are discussed, the information contained in morning reports is explained and used as a summary of the course content.

Target Audience
This course is suitable for any one who wish to start their career in the oil and gas industry, entry level oil and gas engineers, service and support personnel, production operations personnel, production office support staff and participants with or without a technical background.

You Will Learn
- About Surface and Subsurface equipment and how it is used
- Oil & gas exploitation terminology and abbreviations
- The purpose and basic operational aspects of wellhead, flow control equipment, and the major components used in a basic well completion in conventional plays
- The impact that drilling practices may have on reservoir productivity
- Describe the most relevant aspects of HSE in completion operations
- Specify the production target of a well and describe the type of completion or workover design components required to achieve the target
- Describe how a well flows, the impact of well control on fluid flow, and the most common control and monitoring devices
